Rocky Horror Pop-up Bar Halloween Weekend

Rocky Horror at Commoner

It’s like a Time Warp! Remember when NYC’s food scene was riddled with pop-up restaurants and the Food Network teased us in Pittsburgh when we didn’t have it? Well, there is a Pop-Up Restaurant – err, Bar – coming to Pittsburgh next weekend. Downtown Pittsburgh’s The Commoner launches an out-of-this-world “Rocky Horror Picture Show” pop up bar for three days only this Halloween season. The restaurant’s talented bar team will pop up in and theme-out the Salk room on the second floor of the adjacent Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh. This seasonal pop up will last for three days only, October 26, 27, 28, and will be open from 5pm-11pm.

Guests will step into Frankenfurters castle for a first-time underground pop up bar for three nights of creepy cocktails and time warped weirdness. Curated by local punk-rock theater, barebones productions, the pop up bar will have dueling screens looping “Rocky Horror Picture Show,” decor inspired by the film, and perfectly themed cocktails from The Commoner’s bar program.
