5 Must-Try Meals for Pittsburgh Restaurant Week Winter 2014

  1. Matteo’s: Having had a recent wine exchange at Matteo’s and naming them the Pittsburgh TasteBuds Best New Restaurant of 2013, Matteo’s continues to impress me with their generosity.  For only $20.14, a diner gets three courses.  My course choices are the mussels marinara, BLT chop salad and hot sausage lasagna.  Chef Matt Cavanaugh certainly is embracing the celebratory theme of Pittsburgh Restaurant Week, because those items must usually go for double the price.
